GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — After a grand opening on Sept. 26, Field & Fire‘s new “Bakehouse” location in Grand Rapids has opened to the community and will serve as a new headquarters for baking with its 10,000 square feet of space.
“The advantage to going there will be that you have base goods made on site, that are sold the day they’re made,” Shelby Kibler, co-owner of Field & Fire, said. “So, super fresh.”

Field & Fire’s Bakehouse is the business’ third location after having grown more at each of their Grand Rapids Downtown Market and Monroe Avenue storefronts.
“You come in, you are greeted with a warmth that is genuine,” Kibler said. “We love doing what we do … the service that we offer is pretty special and meaningful.”
Focusing on farm-to-table relationships with local providers, co-owners Shelby and Julie Kibler look forward to continuing their mission of bringing sustainable, healthy baked goods to the Grand Rapids community.
“Our focus has been and continues to be European-style, artisan bread,” Kibler said. “We try to pack in some real nutritional value.”…
