I park in downtown Grand Rapids five days a week, and I’ve gotten so many parking tickets in my life that there shouldn’t be a single pothole in the city limits.
Most of my tickets are from forgetting to put more money into the meter, and when I do, just like clockwork, a ticket finds its way onto my windshield.
One place I’ve always avoided parking in was a loading zone because I assumed that if I got a ticket there, it would be really expensive.
I recently saw something about parking in Grand Rapids loading zones and I had to do a double take to make sure I was reading it correctly…
