Grand Rapids clinic provides free dental work for military members amid shutdown

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — With the federal government still shut down and no solution in sight, some service members’ health care coverage is among the affected programs.

On Friday, Precision Family Dental in Grand Rapids held its fifth free dental day for veterans and active-duty military members.

“We’re trying to fill that gap. We know it’s a small gap, but we believe every little bit counts,” Dr. Adam Piotrowski said.
