The National Weather Service issued a report at 5 a.m. EDT on Sunday for dense fog until 10 a.m. EDT for Lake, Osceola, Clare, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella, Montcalm, Gratiot, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties.
“Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of central and western lower Michigan this morning. Motorists should anticipate rapidly changing conditions with visibilities reduced to less than a mile at times. Fog is expected to lift by 10 a.m. If you are traveling and encounter fog, slow down and leave extra room between you and the car in front of you.
