WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Patients can now receive services at the University of Michigan Health-West’s new Hematology and Cancer Care building in Wyoming.
The facility is located at 2147 Health Dr. SW, near the intersection of Gezon Parkway and Byron Center Avenue. On Tuesday morning, leaders with UM Health-West and the Cancer Network of West Michigan celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The first floor, which offers medical oncology and hematology services, officially opened to patients Tuesday. Meanwhile, radiation oncology will continue at UM Health-West’s nearby Cancer Center on Metro Way. Next year, leaders expect to open the second floor of the Hematology and Cancer Care building and offer infusion services.
