KENT COUNTY, MI – A parole absconder led police on a vehicle pursuit, crashing into multiple vehicles, before breaking into an occupied senior living center while armed with a knife.
The 46-year-old suspect, on parole for second-degree murder and armed robbery, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 30, after police subdued him with a beanbag shotgun.
“This was a dangerous individual who is now off the streets. Incidents like this are infrequent, but our deputies train regularly for these high-risk situations to ensure the best possible outcomes,” Kent County sheriff’s Sgt Scott Dietrich said in a statement…
