KENT COUNTY, MI — A 46-year-old man involved in a one-day crime spree had been convicted as a juvenile in the 1996 killing of a restaurant manager.
Cody Jerome Skaggs was arraigned Monday, Nov. 3 on multiple felonies for leading police on a vehicle pursuit and crashing into multiple vehicles before breaking into an occupied senior living center while armed with a knife.
