UM Health-West debuts three hospital security dogs for safety, comfort

WYOMING, Mich. — A West Michigan hospital’s security team is now considerably furrier.

University of Michigan (UM) Health- West debuted their new K9 security program Wednesday.

The specially trained dogs are Belgian malinois-German shepherd mixes, who were bred in Europe and trained in southwest Michigan.
