GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A group of veterans were recognized at an American Legion event on the northeast side of Grand Rapids Saturday, starting with breakfast and followed by an afternoon that included music and an appreciation dinner.
Guitars for Veterans performed mid-afternoon, which led into opening ceremonies by the Kent County Honor Guard. After the invocation and a Salute to Veterans, a full dinner was served.
