GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — John Skelton, the father of three brothers who disappeared in 2010, is weeks away from walking out of prison.
Online records from the Michigan Department of Corrections show John Skelton is set to be released from Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility in Ionia on Nov. 29.

Skelton and the boys’ mother, Tonya Zuvers, were separated and lived in Lenawee County. Their three sons, 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton, each went missing after spending the Thanksgiving holiday with their father in 2010.
John Skelton had told investigators that the boys were handed off to other people for their own safety and claimed they would “hibernate until they graduate.”…
