Kent County OKs $5M to demolish former hospital for new administration building

The former Kent Community Hospital building is on track for demolition next year to make way for a new county administration building.

The Kent County Board of Commissioners approved a $5 million funding resolution on Nov. 6 to demolish the 103-year-old building at 750 Fuller Ave. NE at the county’s Fuller Campus.
