The Kelloggsville High School Rocket Marching Band has been chosen as the only Michigan band to perform in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C., on May 25, 2025. The band was nominated by Rep. Hillary Scholten. Band director Troy Anderson said he is proud to represent the Kelloggsville community and the state of Michigan.
About 50 students and chaperones will travel to the event. Auditions will decide which students participate. The band received the invitation after a successful season.
