GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Friday, Nov. 14, visitors to The Intersection and its The Stache event space can attend Raise the Woof, a talent show and fundraiser benefitting Grand Rapids’ Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue.
Established in 2011, Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization that seeks to transform the lives of homeless dogs in West Michigan. Its annual fundraiser, Raise the Woof, is a community adoption event.

“We do a different theme every year,” Janelle McFarlane, founder and president of Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue, said.
This year’s theme is a talent show, and Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue will welcome five different acts to perform onstage.
“One’s a musician, one’s a ventriloquist,” McFarlane said. “It’s kind of a good mixture of things.”…
