New Grand Rapids day center offers warmth to city’s homeless population

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A new center in Grand Rapids is providing people experiencing homelessness a place to go during the day when they have to leave overnight shelters.

The new community service center located in Westminster Presbyterian Church has been serving clients since opening its doors earlier this month.
