Deputies: 20-year-old not wearing seatbelt thrown from vehicle in Georgetown Twp. crash

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A man is hurt after being thrown from his vehicle in a Georgetown Township crash on Saturday evening.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), around 6:50 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a crash at Cottonwood Drive near Chicago Drive.

Deputies said a black Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 20-year-old man, was headed southbound on Cottonwood Drive near Chicago Drive. According to the initial investigation, a red GMC Sierra, driven by a 16-year-old boy, was headed west on Chicago Drive and failed to stop at a red light…
