New Grand Rapids networking event aims to raise $5K to fight food insecurity

Grand Rapids communications executive Raul Alvarez is bringing a 22-year-old networking event from Flint to Grand Rapids, aiming to raise $5,000 for SECOM Resource Center’s food pantry.

The event, called Whatchamacallit, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18 at Mammoth Distilling, 710 Wealthy St. SE in Grand Rapids.
