GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two years before a Kent County mom allegedly smothered her toddler, a medical call to the same home made a firefighter suspicious.
That’s according to a Kent County Sheriff’s Office incident report released to Target 8 Tuesday through the Freedom of Information Act.
Firefighters responded to a “trouble breathing complaint” involving a child at the 15 Mile Road home of Irene Whitehead near Cedar Springs on Oct. 19, 2023.
