GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Mel Trotter Ministries is serving its annual Christmas luncheon Wednesday, providing a festive meal to more than 300 people experiencing homelessness in West Michigan.
The free event runs from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Mel Trotter shelter cafeteria, located at 225 Commerce Ave. SW. No registration is required.
Staff and volunteers are serving honey baked ham, roasted chicken, scalloped potatoes, braised cabbage, garlic and feta mashed potatoes, festive cranberry salad and deviled eggs. Pies and cookies will be available for dessert…
