Grand Rapids to cut ribbon on $98M Public Service Center

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Grand Rapids will celebrate the opening of its new Public Service Center on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the $98.2 million facility.

The event will run from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at 1500 Scribner Ave. NW, with remarks beginning at 2:10 p.m.

The 323,290-square-foot center consolidates Public Works, Fleet and Facilities and Parks and Recreation operations into one campus. The facility will serve more than 17 city divisions.
