GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — A Michigan Court of Appeals ruled to uphold the sentence of a man convicted of first-degree murder and second-degree arson.
Chard Bruining was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 15 to 30 years in prison, with those two sentences to be served concurrently.
