Grand Rapids, MI – Drivers across West Michigan should prepare for dangerous travel conditions Monday as a winter storm brings accumulating snow and strong winds throughout the day, impacting both morning and evening commutes.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, the storm is expected to move in early Monday, with impacts beginning around 2 a.m. and continuing through approximately 10 p.m. Monday evening. Forecasters warn of slick and snow-covered roads, reduced visibility, and the potential for localized whiteout conditions, especially near and west of U.S. Highway 131
