GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Saturday, visitors to Grand Rapids music venue The Intersection can attend the Winter Wheat Music Festival, a Michigan music showcase featuring 10 live performances and an open community jam session.
“People can come and bring their instruments and participate themselves,” Marilyn Hummel, lead organizer at the Winter Wheat Music Festival, said.

Led by the Wheatland Music Organization, the annual winter season festival invites musicians and fans together for nine hours of live performances between two stages at The Intersection.
“There’s a real strong core group of people that I recognize every year,” Hummel said. “There’s almost an equally large group of people that just heard about it.”
