Deputies: 1 hurt in Jenison-area shooting

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say one person was shot and injured in the Jenison area early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. at a home in the area of Bauer Road and 24th Avenue in Georgetown Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies showed up, they found a 50-year-old Jenison resident with a gunshot wound. The person’s injury was not considered life-threatening…
