A developer is working to turn a South Division Avenue building into a year-round space where about 100 vendors and artists will be able to sell their work in downtown Grand Rapids.
Developer and Urban Soil Realty broker Bradley Veneklase aims to open the marketplace, called Crows Hold, at 200 S. Division Ave. in March or April this year. The building’s main floor is 15,637 square feet, and the lower level has another 3,000-3,500 square feet that Veneklase plans to activate, he said.
“We’re looking to provide a high-end, accessible launch pad for our next generation of Grand Rapids brands,” Veneklase said. “It will be a mixture of business startups that are making new products, handmade items, paper goods, and some vintage items. It’s not just an antique shop, but there will be some of that too.”…
