4 in 10 Kent County children are overweight or obese, new report shows

KENT COUNTY, MI – Four in 10 Kent County children were identified as overweight or obese in a new local report on childhood obesity.

That’s higher than the statewide average of 32.6% of Michigan children who are considered overweight or obese, and the national average of 31.3%.
