Foreign-made drone ban may force switch, adaptation to American-made in West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Whether you use drones for your job, or they’re a hobby, you may have to buy American-made in the future.

In December, the Federal Communications Commission banned future models of foreign-made drones coming into the United States, which includes popular brands like DJI from China.
