Glen Blackwood, best known as the owner of Great Lakes Fly Fishing Co. near Rockford and host of PBS show Fly Fishing with Glen Blackwood, is remembered by fellow outdoorsmen as a mentor and keystone of conservation in Michigan.
Blackwood passed away Dec. 29 at age 62. He was a lifelong conservationist, fly fisherman and grouse hunter.
