OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Westbound I-96 was shut down in Ottawa County for three hours on Friday after a crash occurred around 2:16 p.m. on the icy freeway.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said the crash, in Crockery Township, involved a tractor-trailer and a transit van. OCSO said the tractor-trailer, driven by a 60-year-old man from Canada, lost control on the ice.
