Grand Rapids man charged in Jenison-area shooting, robbery

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man has been arrested and charged following the shooting and robbery of a Jenison man earlier this month, deputies say.

Reshard Felder, 41, was arrested Thursday by members of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Team, the sheriff’s office said in a release. He was arraigned on multiple felony charges, including assault with intent to do great bodily harm, armed robbery and felony firearms, court records show.

Deputies: 1 hurt in Jenison-area shooting

Deputies allege that Felder shot a 50-year-old Jenison resident around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 7 at a home near Bauer Road and 24th Avenue in Georgetown Township. At the time, authorities said the person’s gunshot wound was not life-threatening.

Felder is being held in Ottawa County Jail on a $500,000 bond…
