WEST MICHIGAN — Slippery roads and blowing snow are causing numerous traffic crashes and slide-offs around West Michigan today.
Due to a multi-car pile-up, I-196 in Zeeland Township is closed in both directions between the Hudsvonille and Zeeland exits. That comes after numerous crashes and slide-offs in that area, including multiple jackknifed semi-trucks. There were several crashes along that stretch, including a multi-vehicle pile-up that involved about 100 vehicles.
