2 dogs quarantined after killing 2 dogs in Hudsonville attacks

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Two dogs were killed, another critically injured and two people were hurt from multiple dog attacks in Ottawa County last week.

The county’s animal control found the two dogs responsible for the attacks last Wednesday and they’re now on bite quarantine.

While her wounds heal, Rachal LaPeer is cherishing memories of her 7-year-old dog Lucy, also known as Lucy-fur, who was killed. The attack happened on LaPeer’s front porch in Hudsonville as they were leaving for a walk last week.

“I was trying to open the door and get Lulu and the dog literally snatched her out of my arms,” LaPeer recalled…
