The Grand Valley University Foundation, the institution’s nonprofit fundraising arm, has announced leadership changes in the form of two new co-chairs and an executive director. The previous co-chairs, Jim and Donna Brooks, are stepping down and will be replaced by Dan and Pamella DeVos.
At the same time, University Development has been renamed Institutional Advancement. According to University leadership, the name is meant to broaden the scope of the program, which now includes philanthropy, alumni and community engagement. Laura Aikens, vice president of University Development will continue in her role for Institutional Advancement.
