GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A former Northview High School school teacher has been charged with having sexually explicit photos of two former students, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) and Northview Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Christina Hinds.
Joshua Balhorn, 27, was arraigned Monday on charges of producing child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
The photos were not taken by Balhorn, but they were modified, which is still a violation of the law, according to Kent County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Becker.
