More than 200 Michigan flights by were delayed at Detroit Metro Airport on Monday, Jan. 26, according to flight tracking website FlightAware as the nation continues to dig itself out of a snowstorm that dumped sleet, freezing rain and snow over most of the country over the weekend.
On Sunday, Jan. 25, there were 22,274 delays and 12,000 cancellations at major airports nationwide. According to the flight tracking website, 235 delays were flights originating from Detroit Metropolitan Airport while another 143 were canceled.
