Public outcry continues over Microsoft’s proposed Kent County data center

KENT COUNTY — The Lowell Township Board did not intend to discuss the controversial $1 billion Microsoft data center project on Monday, but hundreds of residents wouldn’t stay silent on the subject.

The board hosted its first meeting of the new year on Monday, Jan. 26, in the auditorium of Lowell High School at 11700 Vergennes St. SE.
