GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Frigid temperatures and heavy snow has led to the city of Grand Rapids making a temporary adjustment to its snow removal enforcement guidelines.
The city said that while property owners are still in charge of removing snow and ice from their own sidewalks, the city will not pursue a penalty even if some snow remains, but under one condition: The property owner “shows a good-faith effort to clear snow and ice.”
