GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD ) — In a search for better ice cream, two West Michigan natives have gone from Hudsonville to Forbes.
Michael Meadows and Paul Reiss are the minds behind the national ice cream brand Protein Pints. The business idea was forged through a desire for better protein products.
“Our story really connects with people,” Reiss said. “Mike and I grew up eating ice cream almost every single day. But as we got older we had to stop eating it. Instead, we started eating the protein products, the shakes. But the problem was, they didn’t taste that good.”…
