Vigil held for mother, two sons shot and killed in Grand Rapids

WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — There was an emotional vigil in Walker Saturday night as people remembered Jacqueline Neill and her sons Cameron and Michael Kilpatrick, who were shot and killed this week at a home in Grand Rapids.

The vigil was held at a neighborhood the boys grew up in.

“They’re my sons, my ex wife, my best friend, and they’re gone and that’s not fair,” Conrad Kilpatrick, Michael and Cameron’s father, said.

The room was filled with people from the community trying to find comfort in an uncomfortable situation.
