A West Michigan logistics company acquired an Utz Brand Inc. manufacturing site for $20 million at the end of 2025, in what was the city of Grand Rapids’ highest industrial property transaction last year.
Bay Logistics Inc., which is affiliated with trucking company Martin Transportation Systems, acquired the 10.5-acre manufacturing site on Grand Rapids’ south side, where it plans to expand with a centralized location. The 219 Canton St. SW property sale closed on Dec. 23 and was more than twice the sale price of the second-largest industrial sale last year, according to city of Grand Rapids property records.
