GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Residents at Grandview Apartments, a senior living facility, say they’ve been dealing with one problem after another — heating issues, flooding and an elevator out of service for three days.
A pipe broke on the ninth floor Monday night, flooding parts of the building and damaging the elevators that many residents rely on to get in and out of their homes.

“I don’t pay rent to be stuck in my house and not be able to take care of things,” said Val Eaton, who has been living in the complex for nine years. “We’ve been without an elevator for three days.”
