Two students were briefly detained by Grand Valley State University officers Friday night following a report that an individual was carrying what turned out to be a fake axe.
Police conducted the search of North Campus in Allendale. According to GVPD, officers tracked the subject with the fake axe to Pickard Living Center, where he and another individual were temporarily detained. The axe was quickly determined to be a prop, and the subjects were released…
