Competency evaluation ordered for man accused of killing his fiancée, her 2 sons

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A competency evaluation has been ordered for a man accused of killing his fiancée and her two sons despite some pushback from the prosecution.

Charles Lee Broomfield Jr. is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Jacqueline Neill and her boys, Michael and Cameron Kilpatrick.
