Amore Trattoria Italiana hosted dozens of widows and widowers this week ahead of Valentine’s Day as a part of an annual event co-sponsored by I Understand and Food Hugs called “Amore Heals.”
But I Understand founder Vonnie Woodrick and Food Hugs founder Chef Jenna Arcidiacono have noticed a trend over the years that persisted on Tuesday night. Of the nearly 50 people in attendance at the dinner, only three of them were men.
