A Venezuelan food truck near Grand Rapids is pulling into a new address soon.
Belkis Bistro announced their restaurant is opening at 1500 44th Street SW in Wyoming. Currently, Owner Belkis Lizarazo operates a food truck in the area. Lizarazo told What Now Detroit she is hoping to open the restaurant in about two weeks if all goes well with inspections.
The food truck has been open since September 2024 at 5700 Wilson Avenue SW and is now a popular option for Venezuelan cuisine in Southwest Michigan. Dishes served include stuffed arepas, crispy tequenos and golden empanadas.
