GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Like many bakeries across the country, Sandy’s Donuts on Grand Rapids’ West Side has been preparing for its busiest day of the year.
Fat Tuesday orders have surged 25% compared to last year, while Monday’s orders already doubled from 2025, according to co-owner Lindsy Hoezee.
