Rockford-area brewery hosts traditional Irish music nights

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — On Friday, visitors to Third Nature Brewing near Rockford can attend a free live performance from Trillium, a traditional Irish music group.

“Trillium plays at the brewery about once a month,” said Troy Zitzelsberger, owner of Third Nature Brewing Company. “They’re a phenomenal Irish band.”

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Trillium will serenade the customers and guests of Third Nature Brewing with renditions of popular Irish tunes, including “Wild Rover,” “The Foxhunter’s Reel” and more.

“They get everyone singing and clapping along,” Zitzelsberger said.

At any of Trillium’s traditional Irish music nights with Third Nature Brewing, fans can expect the band to perform using a wide variety of unique musical instruments, including the Irish whistle, didgeridoo, flute and more…
