Development in Kent County has increasingly become a standoff between developers, municipalities and residents.
The Right Place Inc. is launching a Real Estate Development Council in part to break that impasse. The council will create a confidential forum where developers, architects and engineers can hash out obstacles with local leaders to encourage smart growth.
The group joins The Right Place’s existing business councils for technology, manufacturing, supply chain and medical device executives, but it’s the first focused specifically on real estate development.
