Renovations to the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s (GRPM) 1928 Spillman Carousel are complete, incorporating a ramp and wheelchair-accessible seat along with restored menagerie animals.
These features were made possible through a partnership with Disability Advocates of Kent County (DAKC). The almost 100-year-old carousel reopened on Feb. 13.
