Western Michigan Weather Alert: 4 Inches of Lake Effect Snow and 35 MPH Gusts Through 1 p.m. Monday

Grand Rapids, Michigan – Lake effect snow bands will continue to sweep across Mason and Oceana counties through 1 p.m. Monday, dropping up to 4 inches and blowing snow across key highways before the morning commute ends.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until early Monday afternoon. An additional 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected in Ludington, Hart and surrounding communities. Wind gusts up to 35 mph could create blowing and drifting snow, especially near the Lake Michigan shoreline…
