Five-course meal at Grand Rapids bar features craft beer pairings

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Feb. 26, guests to Gravity Taphouse Grille in Grand Rapids can attend a five-course private dinner with specialty beverage pairings provided by Michigan’s own Short’s Brewing Company.

“We have a longterm relationship with Short’s Brewing,” said Gaebril Jones, director of hospitality venues at RedWater Restaurants. “We’ve done really well with them.”

Gravity Taphouse Grille and other venues from RedWater Restaurants, often host dinner events that partner elevated meal options with specialty beverages crafted by regional brewers.

“We do a handful of them,” Jones said. “We’ll do tequila-based dinners, quite a few bourbon dinners. Things of that nature.”

At this next event, called the SHORT-est Month Beer Dinner, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of dishes from the Gravity Taphouse Grille kitchen — including glazed pork belly, microgreens, pickled fennel and more…
